How often should I replace the Litter-Robot Carbon Filter?

For optimal odor absorption, we recommend changing the carbon filter every month, but replacement frequency is up to you and your cats' usage patterns. If you use scented litter, we recommend changing the filter more often as it will also absorb the litter scent.

Can I use regular trash bags instead of Waste Drawer Liners?

Yes, you can use any bag that fits in the waste drawer. However, please note that waste level readings may be inaccurate when using a dark bag, especially when the drawer is empty. As clumps start to collect, the readings will become more accurate. For the most precise readings, we recommend using Litter-Robot Waste Drawer Liners.

Are Whisker cleaners safe for pets?

Yes, our Cleaner Spray and Cleaner Wipes are all-natural, fragrance-free and safe for pets. The enzymatic cleaners utilize non-pathogenic (“good”) bacteria to digest organic material, stains and odors caused by urine, feces, vomit and saliva.
