Can I use multiple devices with a single Whisker+ membership?
Yes, your Whisker+ membership enhances all compatible devices at no extra cost, no matter how many you have!
How do I activate my Whisker+ membership?
You can activate your Whisker+ membership within the Whisker app after you have onboarded your first Whisker+ compatible device including Litter-Robot 4, Litter-Robot 5, Litter-Robot 5 Pro, or Litter-Robot EVO. If you’re not prompted to activate your membership in the Whisker app, you can sign into your Whisker account and visit “My Whisker+” to activate your membership.
Is Whisker+ offered for all Whisker devices?
No, we currently only offer Whisker+ for Litter-Robot 4, Litter-Robot 5, Litter-Robot 5 Pro, and Litter-Robot EVO. Whisker+ will become available for more devices in the future.
If I don’t have a Whisker+ membership, will I still be able to access SmartScale® identification & weight tracking?
For Litter-Robot 4, Litter-Robot 5, and Litter-Robot 5 Pro, all previously included device features will remain free to use—you will still maintain access to SmartScale® identification and weight tracking. For Litter-Robot EVO, a Whisker+ membership is required to unlock SmartScale® identification and weight tracking.
If I don’t have Whisker+, can I still use live video streaming?
Yes, you can watch and listen to real-time video streams of your cats remotely for up to 5 minutes daily. With Whisker+, you will get unlimited daily video streaming access. This feature is only available for camera-enabled devices like Litter-Robot 5 Pro.

How reliable are Whisker+ features and insights?
Features may vary by device. If cats can't be reliably distinguished, some features—like weight tracking, visit logs, activity insights, and reports—may be limited. With Whisker+ your individual cats will be identified by SmartScale® or visual cat identification—which is only available for camera-enabled devices like Litter-Robot 5 Pro. With SmartScale®, if your cats are within 1 lb of each other on Litter-Robot 4 or 0.5 lb of each other on Litter-Robot 5, SmartScale® may have trouble telling them apart. It uses a 7-day weight history to assign readings. Identification issues may affect features like weight tracking, visit logs, activity insights, and reports. Additionally, through visual cat identification, Whisker's AI identifies cats by facial recognition. If it can’t distinguish between them, features like weight tracking, visit logs, activity insights, and reports may be impacted.
What does Whisker+ bathroom habit tracking include?
With Whisker+ bathroom habit tracking, you can easily spot unusual behavior by tracking how often, how long, and what time of day each of your cats use the bathroom with Litter-Robot 4, Litter-Robot 5, Litter-Robot 5 Pro, and Litter-Robot EVO.
How long does cloud & video storage last?
With Whisker+, you will get cloud storage to access the last 30 days of past videos and cat activity events captured by video. Without Whisker+, you will only get access to the last 2 days of videos and events.
What does visual cat identification mean?
Using visual identification through camera-enabled Whisker devices, we link each of your individual cats to device activities for more accurate tracking and precise insights. This feature is only available for camera-enabled devices like Litter-Robot 5 Pro.
