FAQ

Are all Whisker robots managed in the same app?

Yes, all Whisker robots are managed in the Whisker app.

How do Whisker robots interact with each other?

Whisker robots don’t interact with each other. However, multiple Whisker robots can be onboarded to the Whisker app, where you can create custom pet profiles to unlock personalized insights into your pet’s litter box and feeding behaviors.

Do all Whisker robots benefit from the 90-day in-home trial?

Yes, all Whisker robots come with a 90-day in-home trial for peace of mind. If you decide your Whisker robot is not right for you during the trial period, you can return it for a refund; just pay return shipping. (Note: Units returned in unclean conditions may be subject to a cleaning fee deducted from your refund.)

What does the WhiskerCare® Warranty cover?

Our hassle-free protection plan covers accidental damage, power surges, mechanical and electrical breakdowns, and software support. You’ll have access to our dedicated customer experience specialists, software experts, and US-based service and repair team. During your warranty period, we will resolve robot issues at no charge, including free shipping both ways. There are never deductibles or hidden fees.

A Whisker robot for all your (pet’s) needs

At Whisker, we’re working to make life with pets endlessly better. From self-cleaning litter boxes to automatic pet feeders, we invent products that solve problems for humans and improve the lives of pets.

Self-cleaning litter boxes

Cleaning a litter box is one of the chores cat parents dislike most—dealing with odors, dust, and constant scooping. A self-cleaning litter box like Litter-Robot eliminates this hassle by automatically removing waste after each use, keeping litter fresh for your cat.

Automatic litter boxes also reduce odors, dust, and tracking by sealing waste in a drawer and using advanced sifting technology. For multi-cat homes, a single self-cleaning litter box can often replace several traditional ones, supporting up to four cats.

Automatic pet feeders

Never miss a meal with a smart automatic pet feeder like Feeder-Robot. Our automatic feeder for cats or dogs ensures your pet gets the right amount of food on time, every time—even when you’re away. Control meals from the app or panel, set up to 8 portion-controlled feedings a day, or give snacks with a tap.

With a 32-cup capacity and anti-jam technology, Feeder-Robot prevents missed meals. Customize feeding with precise portions or switch to gravity mode, which keeps the bowl filled for pets that prefer to graze.

Our focus on pet care

At Whisker, we believe the future of pet care is smarter, simpler, and more connected. Building on Brad Baxter’s invention of Litter-Robot, we’re shaping a world where technology helps people better understand and care for their pets. With over 1.5 million pet parents already enjoying the freedom of automated care and smart insights, we’re looking ahead to innovations that will transform how we bond with our pets for years to come.

The Whisker difference

In 2000, Whisker founder, engineer, and fellow cat parent Brad Baxter revolutionized pet care with the invention of the first Litter-Robot self-cleaning litter box. Since then, more than 1.5 million pet parents worldwide have enjoyed a better way to care for their cats—eliminating scooping and gaining valuable insights through the Whisker app.

Manufacturing

For 25 years, Whisker has proudly supported American manufacturing. Our robots are designed, assembled, and serviced in the USA by nearly 400 team members at our 250,000 sq-ft facility in Wisconsin.

Engineering

With a team of over 90 engineers, we’re continually imagining, innovating, and creating new solutions that meet the evolving needs of cat parents—building the future of connected pet care.

Safety

Whisker products are backed by years of rigorous quality and safety testing. Litter-Robot features advanced safety technology, including lasers that monitor four safety zones, weight sensors, and anti-pinch software—all working together for enhanced cat detection and peace of mind.

Warranty

Every Whisker robot comes with the WhiskerCare® Warranty, a comprehensive plan that provides full coverage for 1 year at no cost. If an issue arises during this period, we’ll repair or replace your robot free of charge. Extended warranty options are also available for added protection.

90-day in-home trial

While most pets acclimate to their Whisker robot within a few days to a week of setting it up, the included 90-day in-home trial provides peace of mind for households that need a little more time. If your Whisker robot doesn’t work out for you or your pet, you can return it for a refund; just pay return shipping.
